Since joining the board of VisArts, I have had the opportunity to get to know the dedicated people that have helped to make this organization an important pillar in Montgomery County.  Through the visual arts, VisArts has transformed the lives of so many in our community.

Each year, VisArts welcomes more than 30,000 people to our home in Rockville Town Square. We’re a unique regional hub for the visual arts, with programs and activities that challenge and inspire artists and aspiring artists – of all ages, interests, and abilities. We bring people together through shared creative experiences, fostering a more connected community and encouraging understanding of varied perspectives.

We all need art – to create, to experience, to connect, to communicate – and to enjoy. It’s essential to a life well-lived. Your support means that we can help more people live more fully by joining our visual arts family.

Please help today so that VisArts can continue to offer:

  • Financial assistance to young camper whose working families cannot cover the full cost
  • Free or discounted classes for disabled children and adults
  • Discounted classes to students and senior citizens
  • Help for disabled artists
  • Paid fellowships and residencies for emerging artists
  • Free exhibitions to the community

Please take part today and make a difference for so many. Join us in raising $150,000 for VisArts, a non-profit arts organization that’s been transforming individuals and communities for more than 30 years.

If you make a gift of any amount by December 31, you’ll double your impact! The Windgate Charitable Foundation is matching all contributions up to $100,000.

We can’t do it without you – our class, camp, and event fees don’t cover these much-needed additional costs.

Your gift will make a difference for so many deserving people in our community.

Will you help make these transformations possible?

Thanks so much,

Phyllis
